The project
Our project is about creating an international radio. This will be done in a cooperation of students from several European countries. Our radio will broadcast programmes prepared by students taking part in the project.
There will be focus on learning foreign languages, environmental issues, problems of teenagers, presenting different aspects of cultures and traditions. Each school will have a set group of
students directly responsible for the radio (around 20 people). But every student in schools will have the chance of having an impact on the content of the broadcast material by writing e-mails
with new ideas and suggestions. The broadcast information will be possible to find on our website.
Our project involves countries from eastern Europe which have culture and mentality different from countries in southern Europe.
The coordinator, has looked for the partners on the existing Internet data bases proposing the project idea. The goal is going to realize a partnership based on two main axes: the North-South
axis and the East axis.
The idea was to:
- involve eastern countries which joined EU in 2004;
- put in contact, on the south-north axis, very distant and apparently culturally different countries.
In the partnership, there will be involved technical schools and upper secondary school which
provide students with ITC skills so that each school will be able to support each other.
